Tarvel to the tropic paradise

Thailand is one the most amazing place to visit. The place is full of agent statues, libidinous cuisine to try, and experiences the life of the native. I am not talking about visit the city. To get a true experience of Thailand, the first place I recommend that you should visit is their theme park.

They might had ride but the unique thing about Thai theme park from the United State is they had animal perform curtain dances and stuns. Just make sure you capture this on video.

Upon visit the theme park, you will see elephants perform a dance, a man perform a stuns with a alligator month open with the performer head inside. Ask your tour-guild for direction. After that exciting visited, it time to enjoy some Thai cuisine, which is the place to experience the true meaning of Thai dinning; again, ask your tour-guile for detail.

The third place to visit is their museum . The tour-guide “who also speak English” will explain the history of Thailand. Make sure you take allot of pictures when visit one of their museum.

If that is not enough, you can always enter the village to see how villager live their life. You will be amaze how they make their lives livable even in a tough environments. The village dinning is also unique and difference from the city traditional style of dinning.

One thing that you need to aware of is even their unique way of dinning might be difference but it said that the foods they eat tent to decrease the change of getting sick.

Each of their attractions had a classical theme music that make you feel you are in the atmosphere, which can be purchase at their gift-shop. Speaking of gift-shop, you can purchase other souvenir to completed your souvenir collection.

From all this amazement, there is one thing that you need to be aware of. Most part of Thailand is currently cover with flood-water so it is best to be prepare. You don’t want the weather to ruined your fun.

This one trip will be a memorable one.

Penguins in Dunedin

Mikes road planner: Its been a while since i traveled to New Zealand, i think it is probably one of the most memorable trips i did in my life. one of my favorite spots was Dunedin, it is just in the south island, a port city, with wonderful view and long very thin roads. driving there was pretty scary, but if you want to get to the good stuff you should be ready, plan your trip in a way you reach the peninsula where the penguins come to the shore its a magical moment.

Thailand welcomes 19 million visitors annually, a figure that is almost one third of its population, which is about 67 million. It is one of the most visited countries in all of Southeast Asia.

Visitors planning a trip to Thailand tend to fall into two groups: those looking to visit Bangkok and those looking to relax in Thailand’s rural and coastal locales.

Bangkok is a heady mix of tradition and contemporary elements, and has become a favorite with those looking to party. Its streets feature a wealth amenities and attractions, from temples to markets, from shopping malls to picturesque gardens. Those looking for something out of the ordinary should check out the floating markets in Damnoen Saduak near the city.

Thailand is actually home to a variety of oddities. These include the Phanom Rung temple, which stands on an extinct volcano and the world’s largest crocodile farm, which is found in Samut Prakan. Not everything in the country is strange though.

Many people base their Thailand trip planning around its beautiful beaches. The white sands are ideal for lazing and enjoying the warm waters that lap against them. Others head inland to the countries jungles, where elephant rides lay in wait.

Travel Thursday – Ghent, Belgium

Amsterdam, second best destination 2013 Lonely Planet

Mikes road planner: I’m not much of a smoker (well not anymore anyway 🙂 but i find Amsterdam to be the city of freedom, while i was watching this Nike commercial i think i fell in love… There are hundreds of coffeeshops in this city. you can go into them and its legal to buy some cannabis or hash. ever since 1970s the restricted the amount and now its only 5 gm, all other drugs are illegal.

Israel as a traveling destination

Balcony view

Mikes road planner: I do believe its an interesting destination, traveling to Israel, will probably feel like going to a very far away country, that has desert, beaches and snow… i don’t know allot of countries especially so small that have all these. anyway i find the picture here  wonderfully portraying all of these climate. so whether you’re a summer or a winter person you’ll find what to do in Israel.

Venetian House

Mikes road planner: I saw this post, and wondered How Venice was built on water? so i researched and found out that Venice was built at 421 AD, and is an archipelago of over 100 islands that are located in the center of the shallow lagoon. Venetian people invented unique techniques to deal with problems of the low muddy islands.
The buildings in Venice are constructed on closed wood piles, that penetrates the soft layers of sand, and lean on to the solid compressed clay that underlied the lagoon islands. The foundation lies on the piles, and buildings of brick or stone sit above these. Very interesting, it is also known that Venice is sinking, in the last century it sank in about 7 centimeters.

Italians Believe in Food and Family

If there is anything i know about Italy it is that the food and beverage are delicates ! i was looking for some food recommendations and got across this great summary of a food adventure in Italy:)

A Taste of Italy

I had heard the expression that entitles this post before I went to Sicily.  But, the Southern Italians really reinforced the point.  My roommate Chelsea has family that lives there, and they took care of us!  They went above and beyond, and they weren’t even closely related family.  Maria was the connection and is the sister of Chelsea’s uncle-in-law.  Did she let the distance in their relations dampen her hospitality?  Is Catherine ever leaving Italy?  The answer is: “no”!

Maria and her husband Vincenzo drove the five of us to and from their summer villa where they let us stay for the weekend.  It was a neat and cozy little house with an abundance of charm.  The view wasn’t too bad either.

On top of giving us their personal summer home, they had also stocked its kitchen.  The fridge was full of Italian meats and cheeses, along with apricots, nectarines…
