I read this book while Planning a trip to Ireland. and i needed something more general and less detailed like Lonely planet or other guides, that way i can plan the route, and do my research afterwards. so this book gave me to my surprise, great tips! and it gave me a great ideas for routes in Ireland. It display the main route from Dublin to Galway (very recommended) and it has allot of tips for some hidden places on the way. this book was written by multiple authors, just like many guide books.but this one felt like they knew what they were talking about, and shared their personal preferences, and revealed great places for walk and enjoying the country of Ireland. It also had great recommendations for B&B, and backpackers restaurants. this book will be around for the long run, and its no wonder. You can also view all my reviews here : mikes-road-planner

I think this is a decent book for getting a good taste of what the USA is like for traveler. for first timer, its a good place to start. its good for New York City trips, and a lot of other spots. its a great book for heavy traveler, not for those who are traveling the USA for a week… its best for cross country trips. you get plenty of good advice’s and tips for the big cities as well as the small country towns. its a great book for my own traveling collection books.
